Capping, soil decompaction, seeding and hydroseeding to approximately 80 hectares of PFA stockpiles
Installation of approximately 2,500 metres of stock fencing
Mowing, cut and collect works and general site maintenance
Ecological works including badger sett closures and water vole mitigation
Fence repairs and badger exclusion fencing
Project details
Oliver Brown Ltd has worked on West Burton Power Station restoration since 2012. The initial works included capping, soil decompaction, seeding and hydroseeding across PFA stockpile areas, followed by the installation of stock fencing. Continued maintenance through Tilhill includes mowing, cut and collect works, ecological mitigation, fence repairs and protected species support.
Outcome
Long-term maintenance across approximately 225 hectares, helping manage restored land, ecological requirements and operational site needs.
